Lumina Design System

The Lumina Design System project centered on the construction of a highly structured, scalable digital asset library engineered specifically for a complex fintech application. The core requirement was to eliminate design fragmentation across disparate internal development teams and establish a unified, platform-agnostic visual language that streamlined both the design and front-end engineering processes.

The architecture of the system was built upon a foundation of rigorously defined design tokens, standardizing variables for color, typography, spacing, and interaction states. A comprehensive suite of reusable, modular UI components was subsequently developed, alongside a bespoke library of over 150 optimized vector icons. Every element within the system was subjected to stringent contrast and usability testing to guarantee total compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.

Deployment of the design system fundamentally optimized the client's product development lifecycle. By centralizing the source of truth for all visual assets and interaction patterns, the time required to design and implement new features was significantly reduced. The system ensured that the fintech application maintained absolute visual and functional consistency across both web and native mobile environments.
